Japan has won AFC Asian Cup 2004 by a thorough victory against
China. They did not only defeat their opponents of the sport but
overcame the dirty jeers and the unfair disturbances committed by
the host nation.

From the beginning to the end, the Chinese had never paid a bit of
respect to their neighbors. Before the match, they booed against the
national anthem of Japan as ever. After the match, more than 80%
of the 60,000 Chinese spectators had left the stadium without
celebrating the finalists, and the rest kept making noises as Japanese
national team was awarded the medals and the cup. The Chinese mob
rioted outside of the stadium. They burned Japanese national flags,
and attacked a bus carrying delegates, throwing bottles and garbage.
Around 2,000 Japanese fans were locked inside the stadium for
over two hours to avoid the danger.

This was the host nation, ladies and gentlemen. You all should know
that the Chinese insulted not only Japan but their own national
team, the tournament they hosted and the spirit of sports. Do you
still want to play the Olympic Games 2008 in such a country?

Japan, the glorious winner. Chinese national team, the runner-up.
The Chinese mob, the worst loser. Those rabid underdogs never
respect anybody. They would never do even themselves.

During AFC Asian Cup 2004 China, the people of the host country are
repeating stupid behaviors against Japan. Chinese are harassing
Japanese supporters, and insulting the national anthem of Japan with
booing.
Japanese fans could not feel secure both inside and
outside of the stadium without the heavy guard by local security
police troops disposed.

Like Korea at FIFA World Cup 2002 Korea/Japan, China did not
deserve to be approved as a host country for the tournament. Those
nations who kept holding paranoiac persecution complexes in their
minds, who had no abilities to distinguish sports, culture or art from
historical or political matters, and who do not respect participating
nations should never have played host to any international event.

We know that such Chinese who are misconducting might be a part,
not the whole of the nation, and that they might be less cultivated,
not evil. However, 'the part' is a child of 'the whole'. Parents are
responsible for their kids. It was a bad mother who brought up her
child badly.

AFC - the Asian Football Confederation also has the responsibility
for selecting an inappropriate country as a host. AFC should
penalize the Chinese national team itself, or the nation will never
be disciplined.

happy birthday to you

"In Full Swing" -- Mark O'Connor's Hot Swing Trio

Technique will express its real value when it comes along
with joyfulness or beauty. You'll find this album to be one
of those that have such kinds of values, if only you try the
track 3 "Tiger Rag".

Though "Mark O'Connor's Hot Swing Trio" -- Mark O'Connor
(violin), Frank Vignola (acoustic guitar), Jon Burr
(acoustic bass) -- has traditional style and repertoire of
1930 - 40's French jazz, so-called 'Gypsy Jazz', the two
'special guests' Wynton Marsalis (trumpet) and Mane Monheit
(vocal) give this album musical extensiveness and familiarity.

With the above "Tiger Rag", you can enjoy enough Marsalis'
virtuosity by that he manipulate his instrument with
classical articulation and jazz idiom. If you are a trumpet
player, you'll be irresistibly moved by his technique when
he goes on blowing his horn with amazing speed of tonguing
and when he finishes it with accurate Hi-F hit! You'll be
interested in Vignora's performances on the track 9
"Limehouse Blues" and the track 10 "On Beautiful Evening",
if you are a guitar player. And, I'll recommend all the
tunes of this album -- if you are a violin player who love
the jazz violin giant Stephane Grappelly but don't try to
compare others with him.

A green room is a room, in a concert hall or studio, in which performers can relax, snack, drink and talk when they are taking a break.
So named, this page is, say, a blog-cum-guestbook, for Kayn's Studio.
